We are seeking a highly skilled individual to support our involvement in a collaborative project with leading cultural institutions. Our digital collections play a vital role in preserving and presenting Australia's social, cultural, and scientific history.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Digital Curation team, applying your knowledge and experience in information management and born-digital collections. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing international standards for digital preservation, including metadata, file formats, and technical specifications.
We require a highly skilled individual with relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in managing digital collections. Your ability to use and manage digital preservation systems, software tools, and hardware used in digital preservation activities is essential. You will also need to have experience implementing PREservation Metadata: Implementation Strategies (PREMIS) metadata standard for digital collections.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the long-term accessibility and preservation of our digital collections. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in managing digital collections.

- Experience in implementing PREMIS metadata standard for digital collections.
