Event Planning Specialist Role


Stryker Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and driven Event Planning Specialist to manage a calendar of events including web-based meetings, in-person seminars/events and conferences.


Key responsibilities include working with internal stakeholders on requirements for each event, collaborating and managing relationships with various key external stakeholders, managing events end to end including venue sourcing and booking, and on-site delivery and post-event follow-up.


Requirements include a high level of professionalism, exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, self-motivation, high attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Demonstrated skill and experience in event planning
  • Qualifications in event management or related field
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Amazing communication - written and verbal
  • Technical knowledge of webcasting platforms
  • Flexible work schedule, including working early mornings, nights and occasional weekends
  • Experience using Cvent would be advantageous
