- Data Analysis and Synthesis: Use advanced techniques to synthesise and analyse data for decision making and recommendations.
- Technical Leadership: Build a reputation as a Technical Leader and participate in industry groups.
- Geotechnical Reporting: Manage, analyse and carry out geotechnical reporting for projects.
- Safety Leadership: Provide safety leadership in identifying and alleviating high priority safety hazards.
- Knowledge Transfer: Participate in training activities, mentor and transfer knowledge to other geotechnical engineers.
- Client Relationships: Manage existing and new client relationships and undertake proactive business development activities.
- Professional Development: Keep abreast of advancing technologies, methods and research & development.
- Team Supervision: Supervise, coordinate and review/evaluate activities carried out by less experienced engineers.
- Proposal and Report Writing: Prepare tenders, proposals and reports for clients.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Guide, participate and support stakeholder engagement activities.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A minimum of 5 to 12 years' experience in geotechnical engineering.
- A successful track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for geotechnical projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and review of written technical reports and client communications.
- Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction.
- A civil engineering or engineering geology degree.
- Post graduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favourably.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Ability to take responsibility for geotechnical design delivery in a multidisciplinary environment.
