Role Overview

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is a leading framework for non-formal education, catering to young people aged 14-24 worldwide. In Australia, over 940,000 young individuals have completed the award since its inception in 1959.

This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering training programs for volunteers and staff, overseeing leader onboarding, standardizing engagement and management policies, and providing resource development and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for volunteers and staff.
  • Lead the onboarding process for leaders, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Develop and enforce standardized policies and practices for engagement, management, and recognition across Australia.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (mandatory).
  • At least 5 years of experience in adult training and development, with a proven track record in instructional design and eLearning development.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to implement new training modules and methods effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on strategic thinking and problem-solving.
