Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Risk Modelling Specialist, your role will involve developing and analyzing stress testing, capital, and provisions models, providing a comprehensive understanding of how various scenarios influence risk parameters, management strategies, and financial outcomes for the organization. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Product, assisting them with various initiatives, including the execution of regulatory stress tests. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of both retail and non-retail credit risk models, as well as engaging in project-related activities that may encompass analytics support for risk management programs and climate risk assessments.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • 2-5 years of experience in financial modelling, with a focus on credit risk, including stress testing, capital allocation, and provisions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as R or Python.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to business stakeholders.
  • A strong academic foundation in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, engineering, or computer science.
  • A high level of motivation, a commercial mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning.
