Job Overview

We are a vital part of the Azure Core Networking team, responsible for developing software systems behind our cloud-scale load balancing solutions.

The successful candidate will help develop next-generation load balancer technologies and collaborate with other teams to deliver a seamless, reliable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy large scale distributed systems with high scale and performance handling massive data processing.
  • Identify opportunities and drive the design and implementation of end-to-end telemetry, alerting, self-healing, and automation capabilities to improve service health, manageability, and reliability.
  • Hold accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across products/solutions, on-call to monitor system for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and initiate actions to restore system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Rust OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience building highly scalable distributed systems utilizing micro-services.
