About the Role

Hickory is a leading property company in Australia, committed to innovation and excellence in construction. We're seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team, ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on financial activities, reviewing Bill of Quantities and setting up project budgets.
  • Implement and maintain financial tools, processing financial tasks according to Hickory's Financial calendar.
  • Provide accurate, timely financial reports, maintaining project financial records.
  • Submit progress claims promptly, monitoring and expediting payments.
  • Administer site payments and supplies, processing payments in financial software.
  • Manage subcontractor tendering and contracts, maintaining subcontractor records and insurances.
  • Analyze tender documents and contracts, identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
  • Consult on potential claims and disputes, overseeing contract administration and tracking milestone events and dates.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance and contractual requirements, submitting necessary notices and claims.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
  • Experience in large-scale construction projects, successfully negotiating complex contracts with various stakeholders.
