Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive acquisitions specialist to support the management of block-funded programs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with interpretation of block funded contracts and related operational requirements.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports to support decision-making and program oversight.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure program deliverables are understood and met.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents and reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth communication and resolve any issues as they arise.
  • Identify potential risks in contractual agreements and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the team as needed.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction and work as part of a team.

  • Certificate IV in Business (or 2+ years' experience in a similar position).
  • Experience in community development, social services, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret contracts and program requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
