Lead Addiction Medicine Specialist


This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor in our multidisciplinary team. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner who can provide specialist care to clients with addiction issues.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in addiction medicine, with expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist care to clients with addiction issues, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management

  • Developing and implementing programs to improve health outcomes for individuals and communities affected by addiction

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in addiction medicine or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
