We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team at Vanguard Australia. As a key member of our Corporate Communications function, you will play a critical role in increasing awareness of our brand and enhancing our reputation among retail investors and the general public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies

Develop and implement effective communication strategies and plans that support our focus on brand awareness and reputation enhancement.

Build and Maintain Relationships

Build and maintain relationships with key influencers across the organization and in the industry to support communications and business objectives.

Drive Consumer-Focused Communications

Primarily responsible for driving the consumer-focused aspect of our public relations strategy, developing and executing communications plans that engage various audiences.

Content Creation and Execution

Create effective and compelling communications content based on a deep understanding of our target audience and the broader operating environment.

Measurement and Evaluation

Drive the execution of all phases of the communications process, including conception, implementation, and measurement, to ensure maximum impact on target audiences and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience

Proven experience (minimum seven years) in public relations roles within financial services and related fields is highly desirable.

Research and Communication Skills

Exceptional research skills and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex policy issues to diverse audiences.

Industry Knowledge

Extensive understanding of social, political, and regulatory developments that are of relevance to our firm, our clients, and our staff.

Strategic Partnerships

Proven ability to nurture strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, leveraging your influence to create a robust network that drives our brand forward.

  • RG146 Certification
