Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Laundry Attendant to join our team at Arcare Templestowe. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working Thursday and Friday from 8pm-4pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8am-2pm.

About the Role

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the facility's laundry services, ensuring that residents have access to clean and well-maintained clothing, bed linens, and other fabric items.
  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.
  • Maintain a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.
  • Regularly use, clean, and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers.
