Located in Arcare Templestowe, we are currently seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the facility's laundry services.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining the facility's laundry services, ensuring that residents have access to clean and well-maintained clothing, bed linens, and other fabric items.
  • Regularly using, cleaning, and maintaining laundry equipment such as washing machines and dryers.
  • Maintaining a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

Laundry Operations: Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, clothing, towels, and other fabrics used by residents and staff.

Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining laundry equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Lost and Found Management: Maintaining a system for lost and found items to ensure residents' belongings are returned promptly.
