Structural Design Engineer Role

We are seeking an Intermediate-level Structural Design Engineer to deliver high-quality structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Deliver innovative structural designs and documentation, including architecturally designed houses, estate development of units/townhouses, and associated facilities.
  • Lead projects from concept design to construction within a defined time frame.
  • Support client management and stakeholder communication across multiple disciplines.
  • Develop junior engineers in alignment with company goals and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • 1-3 years post-grad experience in residential or building industry.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software tools such as ClearCalcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, Inducta (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous).
  • Ability to interpret Australian standards and building codes, design in accordance with AS2870, AS1684, AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, NCC etc.
