Aircraft Support Officer Role

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Support Officer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our aircraft fleet and be an integral part of a dynamic group.

As an Aircraft Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe operation of ground support equipment and the efficient turnaround of aircraft at designated destinations. You will need to possess strong adaptability skills and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform receipt and dispatch of aircraft.
  • Operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Aircraft loading and unloading, completion of relevant documentation, and stowage of customer baggage.
  • Sorting of checked baggage and reconciliation of baggage numbers per flight.
  • Marshalling of aircraft when required.
  • Aircraft cleaning and termination cleans.
  • Assisting special needs customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Ground Support Equipment Operation

Ensure the safe operation of ground support equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.

Aircraft Turnaround Management

Manage the efficient turnaround of aircraft at designated destinations.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Previous airline experience is highly desirable.

Licenses and Certifications

Current NSW State Driver's Licence and ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and airside drivers licence are essential.

Physical and Professional Requirements

High standard of physical fitness and professionalism is also essential.
