Aircraft Support Officer Job Description

Rex seeks reliable individuals to fill the role of Aircraft Support Officer/Baggage Handler in part-time capacity.

  • Responsibilities include receipt and dispatch of aircraft, safe operation of GSE equipment, aircraft loading and unloading, completion of documentation, and stowage of baggage and cargo.

The position reports to the Ramp Manager at Sydney Airport. Your tasks include:

  • Marshalling of aircraft (when required)
  • Aircraft cleaning, including termination and incident cleans
  • Assisting special needs customers
  • Assisting with catering duties when required

Selection Criteria

  • Previous airline experience is desirable
  • Current NSW State Driver's Licence
  • Able to obtain an ASIC and airside drivers licence
  • Ability to work shift work, including early starts, evenings, and weekend work
  • High standard of physical fitness and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a team environment and commit to on-time performance
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment in varying weather conditions
