Market Research Analyst Position

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to fill our Market Research Analyst role. As part of our Marketing Insights team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret large datasets derived from syndicated market research sources to inform strategic decisions.
  • Design, automate, and maintain regular performance dashboards and reports that track sales trends, market share, and customer KPIs.
  • Act as the central 'knowledge hub' by translating data into clear business narratives for internal stakeholders through visualisation tools and storytelling techniques.
  • Liaise with external research providers to ensure data delivery, quality, and relevance to business priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in retail or FMCG.
  • Hands-on experience with syndicated data platforms is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Excel and data visualisation skills, including PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • Experience with analytical software, such as R, Python, or SQL.
  • Exceptional ability to engage with and convey technical ideas to relevant business stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making within a dynamic business environment.
  • A self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
