Automation Operations Specialist

Based in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, you will work in one of the biggest automated warehousing solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Effectively respond and react to operational callouts, error notifications, blockages, alarms, and warnings as instructed.
  2. Exchange/refill consumables (e.g. foil, labels, cartons).
  3. Clean parts of the system during maintenance or when technical spillages occur.
  4. Communicate system events clearly to relevant teams to minimize customer operations.
  5. Monitor Vanderlande equipment and advise client/customer staff on machine processes and operations.
  6. Clear any system issues or blockages where required.
  7. Perform low-risk tasks such as repair pneumatic leaks, replace filters, and sensor alignments/replacements.
  8. Execute instructions as directed and work independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications
  1. Highly motivated individual with quick learning abilities.
  2. Basic problem-solving skills.
  3. Team player with excellent communication skills.
  4. Experience within a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
  5. Punctual, dependable, and well-presented candidate.
  6. Mechanical or electrical aptitude is beneficial.
  7. Current forklift license is advantageous but not necessary.
  8. Physically fit candidate.
  9. Available for an immediate start if needed.
  10. Australian or New Zealand citizenship or unrestricted rights to work in Australia are mandatory.

Rotating roster includes two 12-hour day shifts, two 12-hour night shifts, and four consecutive days off.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to think outside the square are highly valued.
