Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team at Glencore. As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment, including planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and preventive maintenance change outs.
  • Conduct fault finding on electrical systems and machines, and perform repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary trade team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and technical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of work activities.

Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Auto Electrical or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience working as a qualified tradesperson.
  • Ability to read and interpret auto electrical schematics.
  • Efficiency with OEM diagnostics tooling.
  • Current Australian manual driver's license.
  • Automation experience is highly desirable.
