About the role

We are seeking skilled Perioperative Registered Nurses to join our team, offering flexible employment options including permanent part-time, full-time, and casual positions.

The department provides surgical services across 16 theatres catering for adults and paediatrics with various specialities. Our state-of-the-art facilities include catheterization laboratories and robotic surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System.

Our team of Perioperative Registered Nurses provide vital support to patients and Clinical Nurses contributing to sustainability and service improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the care journey
  • Demonstrate clinical expertise in procedures and patient management during the perioperative period
  • Effectively manage post-anaesthesia and postoperative complications
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver exceptional care
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills for professional growth

About you

We require a driven individual to fill this challenging yet rewarding position. Requirements include:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
  • Experience working as an anaesthetics nurse
  • Strong teamwork and autonomous skills
