Seeking Experienced Anaesthetics Nurses

About the role

We are looking for skilled and experienced anaesthetics nurses to join our Perioperative Services team. As a perioperative nurse, you will provide essential support to patients and clinical nurses, promoting the sustainability of the department and contributing to service improvement.

  • Achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care while acting as patient advocate.
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management during the perioperative journey.
  • Provide effective management of post-anaesthesia and postoperative complications.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver exceptional care every time.
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth.

About you

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions).
  • Experience working as an anaesthetics nurse.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative, sound reasoning, and strong listening, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of service to patients at all times.
