Drilling Equipment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Equipment Specialist to join our maintenance team in Western Australia.

The Role

This position involves servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on underground diamond drilling equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs. Additionally, they will maintain the underground drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Servicing and maintenance of underground diamond drilling equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs
  • Maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance

A high level of mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision is essential for this role.

The Candidate

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Proven experience working on drill rigs, preferably underground
  • Basic hydraulic and electrical diagnostics and component rebuilds
  • Effective troubleshooting and quick problem resolution skills
  • A current manual C Class Driver License
  • A National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months)
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol screen)
  • The ability to work within a team environment
