Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Drill Fitter to join our Maintenance team.

  • Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on underground Diamond Drilling equipment.
  • Ensure all servicing, repairs and testing is completed and paperwork returned to scheduler.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs.
  • Maintain underground drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Coordinate with teams, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless drilling operations.
  • Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock.
  • Management of costs and quality of repairs being undertaken.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working on drill rigs, preferably underground.
  • Basic hydraulic & electrical diagnostics and component rebuilds.
  • Effective troubleshooting and quick problem resolution skills.
  • Current manual C Class Driver License.
  • National Police Clearance (within last 6 months).
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety standards and hazard identification.
  • Attention to detail and time management.
