About the Role

The SunRice Group is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join our Global Shipping team. As a key partner to this team, you will be responsible for managing our global freight relationships and providing data and financial modeling to support the negotiation of freight tenders.

You will also be involved in monthly activities around accrual accuracy and ensuring a robust R&O is in place. Additionally, you will support the team with inland distribution costs and controls, as well as governance procedures for our Australian businesses across the SunRice Integrated Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sea freight accruals to ensure Balance Sheet accuracy of Provisions & Accruals
  • Forecast and Budget preparation with SunRice Group Shipping Manager and other Cost Centre Managers
  • Driver-based variance analysis, including cross-finance partners, to ensure clear understanding of movements and impacts on regional P&Ls
  • Reporting of results to KPIs, including GAP management with agreed actions to close
  • Responsible for internal controls and compliance with Group policies and procedures for your area
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving the efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness of the supply chain
About You:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual with a natural curiosity for understanding how systems work and how to improve them. You should have relevant finance/accounting qualifications and significant experience in a similar finance/accounting-based role. Additionally, you should have experience in ERP (SAP preferred) and competency in Excel.

You should be able to work cross-functionally and across different levels of the organisation, with exceptional communication skills. Experience in planning systems or inventory management would be highly regarded.
