About the Position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting design drawings and cut lists to bring creations to life
  • Preparing timber for construction using jointers, thicknessers, and saws
  • Sanding furniture to a high-grade finish using hand sanding, orbital sanders, wide belts, and edge sanders
  • Repairing damaged wood pieces
  • Applying natural oils to enhance the appearance of our furniture
  • Assembling components to complete our unique creations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Cabinet Making/Furniture Making
  • Experience in woodworking and building solid wood furniture
  • Proficiency in CAD software, CNC routers, and wide belt sanders
  • Forklift license (desirable)
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
