**About the role**:
In this newly created role and reporting to the Regional Manager, we are seeking an Automotive Electrical Specialist. You will have strong knowledge of the Auto-Electrical trade channel having previously worked in or serviced specialist customers as an internal Auto Parts Interpreter or external sales and is now looking to step into a specialist position who will be the main conduit between our electrical specialist customers and the Branch Network by providing up to date and relevant information with the customer base.

**Key responsibilities and skills will include**:

- Achieving Team sales and GP targets
- Develop profitable long-term relationships with selected electrical customers
- Ensure all nominated customers are aware of relevant promotions and new lines
- Identify Product opportunities for the Channel
- Pass on new customer requests requiring Rep follow up
- Liaise with vendors and organise buy ins
- Communicate required min / max levels of specific products to the Channel/Branch Manager to service customers on going needs.
- Assist with quotes, and tenders
- Regularly attend sales meetings, training sessions and other business-related activities as required by the company or channel
- Keep up to date with current industry and competitor activity and provide market intelligence

**Key requirements of the role**:

- Experienced person with strong history of both sales & admin tasks within the Electrical Specialist Sector
- Sound knowledge of products within the industry
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
- Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry
- Ability to communicate effectively across the Business.
- Maintain minimum once a week Teams catch up with Trade Manager
- Understands the need for business confidentiality
- Trade or API background desirable but not essential
- Some travel maybe required to visit key Customers
