Job Opportunity

The role of Policy Advisor for Ageing Policy involves leading the development of a revised National Ageing Policy through research, stakeholder engagement and consultation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct situational analysis on ageing and the elderly population in Fiji
  • Review existing data and social protection initiatives to identify key stakeholders
  • Coordinate with policy stakeholders including government and civil society actors
  • Draft Fiji's revised Policy on Ageing based on research and consultations
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Demography, Social Work, Social Policy or equivalent professional experience
  • 7-10 years professional experience in social policy preferably in Ageing Policy and working with Indigenous Populations
  • Fluency in English both spoken and written
