Job Title: VMware Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware professional to design and deliver secure, modern, and automated VMware environments across both cloud and on-premises platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing VMware solutions in complex, multi-environment landscapes.
  • Building automation for Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) operations using VMware vRA (Aria) and vRO.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align deployments with VMware best practices.
  • Creating detailed design documentation and operational artefacts to support delivery.
Requirements:
  • A strong track record in designing and deploying VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Horizon.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware automation/orchestration tools to drive SDDC deployment.
  • A solid background working in DevSecOps environments, including CI/CD methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
  • VMware Director, NSX-T, Advanced Load Balancer (Avi), and HPE infrastructure.
  • Security hardening of VMware products to meet national/international standards.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

You will be a problem solver with the ability to work independently or within multi-disciplinary teams. A strong communicator with excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills is required. You should be curious, quick to learn, and passionate about delivering customer-focused outcomes.
