VMware Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Engineer to design and deliver secure, modern, and automated VMware environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering VMware solutions in complex multi-environment landscapes
  • Building automation for Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) operations using VMware vRA (Aria) and vRO
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align deployments with VMware best practices
  • Developing detailed design documentation and operational artefacts to support delivery

Requirements:

  • Strong track record in designing and deploying VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Horizon
  • Hands-on experience with VMware automation/orchestration tools to drive SDDC deployment
  • Solid background working in DevSecOps environments, including CI/CD methodologies

Desirable Skills:

  • VMware Director, NSX-T, Advanced Load Balancer (Avi), and HPE infrastructure
  • Security hardening of VMware products to meet national/international standards
  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
