Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

This is a key leadership role for an experienced Cloud Engineer to work with clients, vendors, and delivery partners to design, implement, and optimize on-premises virtualized platforms, physical hardware, and public cloud services.

The Role

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect who can bring proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing virtualization platforms such as VMware and Azure Local, with the ability to balance business-as-usual operations alongside complex project delivery.

The successful candidate will have expertise in DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (ideally Terraform) and strong scripting skills. They will also have current, in-depth knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be able to combine technical expertise with strong communication, collaboration, and ownership, taking a big-picture, pragmatic approach to deliver solutions that maximize business value and cost efficiency.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Design and documentation of private cloud server hardware solutions.
  • Produce detailed designs for server hardware management applications.
  • Develop comprehensive 'As Built' documentation for deployed infrastructure.
  • Create security documentation using approved templates, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
