Job Title: Cloud Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Expert to provide high-quality services to clients by designing, implementing, and delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, security principles, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to ensure clients receive scalable, secure, and high-performing IT environments.

About the Role:
  • Evaluate client business needs and contribute to strategic planning of information systems facilities and software directions.
  • Be accountable for defined work assignments often involving immediate action or short-term planning of human and other resources.
  • Plan and coordinate resources necessary to complete product implementation and assist in preparation of major sales proposals.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of hybrid IT solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.
  • Manage cloud migration projects, assisting clients in assessing, planning, and executing the migration of workloads from on-premises environments to cloud.
  • Provide expertise on cloud architecture, including compute, networking, storage, security, and identity services, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
  • Develop and implement IaC solutions using tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to provision and manage infrastructure across both on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Configure and manage cloud services such as virtual machines, active directory, networking, Kubernetes Service (K8S), App Services, and Storage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, both on-prem and in the cloud, related to performance, security, and reliability.
About You:
  • Expertise in cloud platform services such as Virtual Machines, Networking, Active Directory, Storage, K8S, Functions, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration strategies and tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, Site Recovery).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and implementation in cloud (e.g., role-based access control, key vault, network security).
  • Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • 6 - 10 years of experience in business management, IT, systems integration consulting, design, coupled with a tertiary qualification.
  • 2+ years experience in consulting, engagement/project management, and/or business and resource management.
  • AGSVA security clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Specialist knowledge of several industries or segments, coupled with strong analytical skills.
  • Recognised as leading expert in specialty area.
  • Analysis, communication, presentation ability and Scheduling skills.
  • Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant cloud certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Cloud Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Cloud Administrator Associate.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex cloud issues.
