The Role:
We are seeking a Multiskilled Domestic to join our team at Juniper Guwardi Ngadu in Fitzroy Crossing. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all areas of the site are kept clean, hygienic, and presentable, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Provide kitchen hand services, including food preparation, texture modification, and accurate apportioning
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in cooking areas and equipment
- Perform cleaning services, including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areas
- Handle residents' laundry, ensuring proper washing and return of clothing
- Manage bed linen, ensuring it is laundered and labeled correctly
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures
- Understanding of infection control
- Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
