The Role:

As a Multiskilled Domestic, you will ensure that all areas of the site are kept clean and tidy, providing a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will work closely with residents and colleagues to enhance their quality of life, adhering to our core values and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Provide kitchen hand services, including food preparation and cleaning
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in cooking areas and equipment
  • Perform cleaning services, including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, and dusting
  • Handle residents' laundry, ensuring proper washing and return of clothing
  • Manage bed linen, ensuring it is laundered and labeled correctly

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
  • Understanding of infection control
  • Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
