Tronox is a global leader in the titanium minerals industry, and we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at our Kwinana Pigment Plant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying sound engineering practices to maintain plant operations at specified rates and lifecycle costs.
About the Role- Identify reliability improvement opportunities and lead projects to enable safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
- Provide technical support to planning and maintenance execution during unplanned maintenance and planned shutdowns.
- Manage small projects and contribute to capital projects.
- Analyze maintenance and reliability metrics, report monthly, and lead projects to improve mechanical integrity.
- Perform engineering design calculations as needed and liaise with teams.
- Tertiary engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Experience in chemical processing environments highly advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Project management experience.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits including 12.5% superannuation, early access to Long Service Leave, an annual leave purchase program, and more.
