About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Manager to join our team at Dexus. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our projects, establishing a project culture that unifies the project team, and promoting continuous improvement and team professional development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive performance of the development, strategically managing risk, forward planning, and monitoring commercial requirements.
  • Provide exemplary people management and team leadership skills, promoting corporate goals and values, and permitting personal development, growth, and experience for team members.
  • Maintain responsibility for the successful conclusion of the project, ensuring program compliance, and overseeing delivery and compliance of agreements.
  • Foster overarching relationships with and between stakeholders, contractors, and customers to develop a collaborative 'best for project' outcome.
  • Maintain oversight and management of project completion, project certification, and defect management process.

About You

You will be a highly experienced Senior Development Manager with a strong background in construction, particularly in premium grade office buildings. You will bring at least 12 years' experience in project delivery, with a proven track record of successfully closing out and handing over complex projects with tier 1 contractors.

As a strategic thinker, you will possess significant technical capability, demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, and be adept in handling challenges, contractual complexities, and working under time and cost pressures.
