Marine Animal Care Manager

Responsibilities encompass the supervision of marine animal care teams, ensuring the well-being and welfare of marine animals in dynamic environments. Key areas of focus include behavioral enrichment, staff management, and exceptional customer experiences.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective marine animal care programs, focusing on enrichment, conditioning, and husbandry practices.
- Liaise with senior management to maintain high standards of animal health and welfare.
- Oversee daily operations, guaranteeing efficient delivery of services and quality exhibits.
- Establish and enforce staff code of conduct standards, providing guidance as needed.
- Ensure exceptional animal adventure programs and presentations.
- Minimum 5C level of skill or equivalent experience (internal applicants).
- More than 10 years of professional experience in marine animal care.
- Tertiary qualification or zoo keeping certification.
- Recreational Boat License and Open Driver's license.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage diverse teams and thrive in dynamic environments.
