Career Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Development Specialist to join our team at SYC. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their employment goals and overcome career challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide One-to-One Coaching Sessions: Work closely with participants to assess their career needs and create personalized action plans.
- Conduct Career Assessments: Help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
- Develop Effective Job Search Strategies: Assist participants in creating effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
- Network with Community Organizations: Collaborate with community organizations to create opportunities for participants.
- Ensure Compliance Requirements: Ensure that all compliance requirements are met.
- Experience in Customer Service or Administration: Proven experience in customer service, client-facing, or administration roles.
- Time Management and Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct client assessments and develop case plans.
- Interpersonal Conflict Resolution and Negotiation Skills: Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to Develop Relationships with Employers and Stakeholders: Ability to build relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
