Western Health seeks passionate midwives to join the Midwifery Group Practice team at Joan Kirner Women's & Children's. MGP provides continuity of care from a 'known' midwife during pregnancy, labour and birth, and early parenting period. We offer various birthing options, prioritizing care for those with specific needs.
About the Role- Completion of Bachelor of Midwifery qualification or equivalent
- Current registration as Registered Midwife with AHPRA
- Full drivers' licence
- Demonstrated understanding of cultural safety and issues affecting First Nations women and families
- Excellent evidence-based clinical skills
You will have the autonomy to create a balanced caseload, allowing you to work in your preferred scope or specialize in your practice. This is an opportunity to bring your unique skills to our team.
