About This Role

Experienced Registered Midwives are sought after to deliver high-quality care and support women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postnatal recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, high-quality patient care according to NMBA standards
  • Support women and families through various stages of pregnancy, labour, and postnatal recovery
  • Promote breastfeeding and provide necessary education and guidance
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Engage in ongoing education, reflective practice, and quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
  • Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience
  • Recent experience in antenatal, birth suite, and postnatal settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience supporting women and families with diverse cultural and social needs
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and on-call
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining high clinical standards
  • Passion for delivering woman-centred, evidence-based care
