The Role

Veolia ANZ is on the lookout for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance our operations. This is a permanent full-time position.

As part of a dedicated and experienced team, you will report directly to the National Credit Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee debtor accounts, ensuring compliance with the company's credit policies. This includes safeguarding the company's financial interests, optimizing cash flow, minimizing losses, and enhancing the recovery of debts across Australia.

Your Responsibilities

  • Overseeing debtor accounts to ensure timely collections and maintain debts within acceptable limits
  • Engaging proactively with customers and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate cash collections
  • Managing disputes with regular follow-ups or escalations as necessary
  • Generating accurate and timely reports to track account statuses
  • Reviewing performance against established KPIs with the Manager and clearly documenting targets versus actual results
  • Reducing aged debt effectively

Qualifications for Success

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in credit control or accounts receivable
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
