About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based interventions that support clients facing mental health challenges and age-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Psychological Assessments – Conduct assessments and interventions for clients across primary care and aged care settings.
  • Collaborate Effectively – Engage with General Practitioners, healthcare teams, and aged care providers to develop holistic care plans.
  • Address Diverse Client Needs – Address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and cognitive decline.
  • Maintain Professional Standards – Adhere to AHPRA regulations, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Tailor Interventions – Develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs using evidence-based approaches.
  • Manage Case Notes – Maintain accurate and timely case notes and reports in line with professional standards.
  • Provide Education & Support – Offer education and coping strategies to clients, families, and caregivers.
  • Engage in Continuing Development – Stay up to date with best practices through training and supervision.

This role requires registration with AHPRA, an NDIS Check, proof of eligibility to work in Australia, and advanced interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment backed by Practice Nurses and Medical Receptionists who handle administrative tasks.
