Job Title: Footwear Category Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced footwear category specialist to join our team. As a fast-moving, digitally native marketplace in fashion, we deliver trend-led products at smart prices.
Key Responsibilities- Define and deliver the footwear category strategy to achieve sales, margin, and growth targets.
- B uild on-trend, value-led assortments that excite customers and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure best-in-class pricing, margin, exclusivity, and agility.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and eCommerce teams to deliver perfectly timed product drops with compelling content.
- Monitor sell-through and trading metrics to make rapid, data-led decisions on rebuys, markdowns, and promotions.
- Proven experience buying in footwear within a fast-paced retail or eCommerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills with confidence in trading dashboards, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- A track record of scaling assortments while protecting margin and managing tight inventory.
- Sharp negotiation skills and supplier management experience, including global sourcing.
