Job Title

The Exports Division is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead research and analysis in policy development, prepare briefing materials, and engage with stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team to undertake research and analysis to inform policy development
  • Prepare strategic briefings for senior executives and Minister
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including industry bodies and producers
  • Represent the department in forums and provide technical advice on export operations

About Us:

The Exports Division provides export inspection services and develops strategies to gain market access for food products and live animals. It also coordinates input from industry and government to develop Australia's international food standards position.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management
  • Ability to achieve results under pressure
  • Knowledge of international trade and Australian agricultural industries
