The role of a Financial Accountant presents a rare opportunity to step up and make a real impact in the Finance Team.

We are seeking a results-driven Financial Accountant with a strong background in Australian-owned businesses and experience in large Enterprise Resource Planning systems. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to tell the story behind the numbers.

About the Role:
  • Month-end close, revenue recognition, forecasting & budgeting
  • Interpreting financial data to identify, communicate risks, opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Complex reconciliations – deferred revenue, payroll, bank
  • Compliance with statutory requirements – FBT, Payroll Tax, Income Tax, GST (AU & NZ)
  • Financial modeling, Profit and Loss reviews, dashboards, and board reporting
  • Supporting audits, cash flow analysis, and finance transformation projects
  • Collaborating with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and assisting with intercompany transactions
  • Responding to parent company reporting needs

Key Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for owning critical aspects of the ANZ financial function, including:

  • Month-end close, revenue recognition, forecasting & budgeting
  • Interpreting financial data to identify, communicate risks, opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Complex reconciliations – deferred revenue, payroll, bank
