Job Overview

The senior accountant will be responsible for financial reporting obligations by analysing requirements and developing efficient processes. This role supports the production of monthly and quarterly financial reports to management and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production of timely financial reports that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation of inputs into the annual financial report for submission to ASIC and supporting analysis for submission to the Board of Directors.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests regarding reported information and enhancing routine reporting processes through automation and improved controls.
  • Proactively managing risk; meeting policy and compliance requirements.
About You/Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a commerce or related discipline.
  • Qualified accountant (CA or equivalent) with 2+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS/AASB accounting standards and/or APRA reporting.
  • Previous experience in preparing or auditing financial reporting.
