Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be looking for new challenges.

The key responsibilities of this position include supporting site teams to achieve project goals, reporting to Site Manager & OHS Manager, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • General labouring duties as required, including site and shed cleanups, materials loading/unloading, and skilled labouring tasks.\
  • Traffic control, spotting, and use of plant and equipment.\
  • Monitoring, managing, and reporting safety on site.\
  • Conducting site walks/audits as required.\
  • Directing and monitoring safety procedures on site.\
  • Other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.\
  • Candidates must possess a current driver's license and own vehicle.\
  • Fully unrestricted Australian working rights are mandatory.\
  • At least 5 years of experience within the commercial construction industry in Melbourne.\
  • Current building and construction industry induction card (White Card) is required.\
  • Cert III OHS is essential.\
  • A current First Aid Certificate is necessary.\
  • Traffic Management license is preferred.\
  • Additional construction tickets are not essential but beneficial.\
  • Good knowledge of construction works and ability to assist trades on site.\
  • Commitment to maintaining a culture of safety.\
  • Willingness to adapt to tasks and conditions.\
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism.\
  • Ability to work as part of a team.\
  • High energy, willingness to learn, and 'can-do' attitude.\
