This role presents an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Judicial Associate, contributing to the efficient management of Chambers and Court. As part of our esteemed judiciary, you will work closely with a Judge to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, enabling them to effectively manage chambers, supervise junior staff, and perform various duties related to court administration. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain high standards of ethical behaviour will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of Chambers, including responding to enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise the Deputy Associate, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork.
- Assist the Judge in preparing and managing matters awaiting hearing, ensuring timely resolution of cases.
- Maintain the court's case management system up-to-date, facilitating efficient court proceedings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, promoting a positive image of the judiciary.
Requirements
- LAW DEGREE: A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification is required.
- ADMITTED TO PRACTICE: The successful candidate must be admitted to practice as a lawyer.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- ABILITY TO ADAPT: The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities is crucial in this fast-paced environment.
- TOLERANCE AND DILIGENCE: A high level of tolerance and diligence is required to work effectively in a small team.
