We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.
About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with our Sales Team to provide recommendations on Check Point solutions to meet customer cyber security needs. You will provide insight and advice to customers based on Check Point best practices and industry knowledge to drive optimal outcomes.
You will lead technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice, and managing tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops. Additionally, you will support responses to RFI's & RFP's with bid teams and engage and support enablement of key partners and customers on latest Cyber Security Technologies.
Requirements- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs.
- Exposure to network, cloud, and End Point security is advantageous.
- Customer-first mindset and experience working with large to medium enterprise organizations.
- Ability to create end-to-end security solutions for customer environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant certifications highly preferred (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE).
- Existing right to work in Australia.
