Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our innovative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop tooling for remote-operated vehicles (ROVs) and subsea equipment, contributing to the advancement of electronic ROVs, unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), vision systems, and related tooling.
  • Review and Verification: Review and verify technical outputs including drawings, schematics, programming, and system designs.
  • Project Leadership: Take ownership of specific projects, leading junior and graduate engineers as required.
  • Support: Support senior design engineers with day-to-day engineering tasks and project coordination, and act as the lead in their absence, ensuring continuity and quality of work.
Requirements
  • Engineering Discipline: Strong proficiency in both mechanical and software engineering disciplines.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of hydraulics, electronics, electrical systems, and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills, including CAD software (Solidworks, Draftsight/AutoCAD, Altium Designer), programming languages (C++, Python, LabVIEW, C#), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Subsea Design Experience: Subsea design experience is favorable but not essential.
