Job Overview

The role of a Flight Attendant is to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, and manage in-flight services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
  • Provide a personalized service to passengers while traveling to diverse destinations.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Be 18 years of age or over.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Be no taller than 173 cm.
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - completed within the last 3 years.
  • Demonstrate one of the following:
    • Completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand.
    • Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
    • Worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
    • Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.
  • Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check.
  • Be passionate about your role and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods.
  • Have a high level of personal presentation.
  • Have a natural willingness to please and care for people.

Extensive training will be provided – flying experience is not required.
