Cloud Engineering ExpertWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Expert to join our team. As a key member of our cloud solutions team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust systems that empower customers to confidently navigate their cloud journey.Your mission will be to deliver exceptional cloud solutions by seamlessly integrating strategy, execution, and deep cross-functional expertise. You will support organisations in adopting best-in-class cloud technologies that drive excellence, efficiency, and innovation.We are looking for someone with strong experience in software engineering and DevOps, particularly in production environments using AWS. You will design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and apply expertise in configuration management and infrastructure as code, using tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, and others.You will contribute to security-focused engineering practices, including identity and access management, firewall configuration, and fundamental cloud security principles. You will collaborate across cross-functional and technical teams to deliver Agile-based projects and demonstrate a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.The ideal candidate will use acquired knowledge to solve practical business problems for customers and communicate effectively with clients at a business level. You will translate customer needs into technical solutions to help maximise team velocity.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for DevOps culture, tooling, delivery methods, and cultural practices within the organisation and its clients.
  • Assist with estimating work efforts and story pointing required for each phase of an agile project.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers, less experienced engineers, and client personnel.
  • Identify, qualify, and raise technical risks and issues.
  • Help grow the culture of learning by taking part in and coordinating opportunities such as presenting at technical conferences, community groups, writing blog articles, and contributing to partner-coordinated workshops.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in software engineering and DevOps, particularly in production environments using AWS.
